Join The Evolution!

Dear Fellow Brokers,

After reading through the recent rating changes of one of the exchanges, (I hired a mathematician to figure it out and he was baffled), I want to stress the importance of why all brokers should be a part of Ticket Evolution. All brokers should band together to take back our industry and stop having to rely on an increasingly arbitrary rating system to dictate how little your profit is on every ticket you sell.

We are making huge strides on all fronts, increased amount of investors (120), the b2b exchange is awesome, the uploader is saving brokers a lot of time, the rest of the software projects are nearing completion, the support from the broker community has been phenomenal. That all being said, it’s not enough! If you are a broker who is currently not uploading to us, why aren’t you? If you are constantly complaining about your current options just remember that you have the power to do something about it. If you want your exchange to be the best it can be, then we need you to start listing your inventory with us. Help us make the Ticket Evolution exchange and API the most competitive in our industry.

As of Sept 1st we are charging $99 (equal to one ding!) a month for the use of the uploader, access to the exchange, the ability to save money through Evopay and receive orders from our first big partnership as well as other affiliates getting ready to come on board. A few of you have complained about this $99 fee but I don’t think you’re seeing the big picture for your future. This money, which is minimal, is helping us build the products that you want and pay for the support you deserve. It is helping to establish this company as a leader in our industry and it’s owned and run by people like you! Our board is comprised of large, medium and small brokers who have your best interest in mind; can you say that about any of the other distribution channels? Please feel free to reach out to any of our board members as they are your constituents to having your voice heard.

I want to challenge each of you who’s not a part of our community as yet, to stop sitting on the sidelines and get in the game! Use our exchange, pay other brokers with Evopay but most importantly list your inventory with us. Give this company the support it deserves! I can assure you that the small amount of money you pay a month will go a long way in securing your future.

Whether you’re a current investor, thinking about becoming one in the future or just using our products, feel free to contact any of us with your comments, suggestions or ideas. I am happy to talk to anyone on a one to one basis so please do not hesitate to call.

Well said Ram. The part that can’t be stressed enough is that this is a company created by brokers, owned by brokers and governed by brokers. This is not and never will be a dictatorship where your rating changes at midnight and is retroactive to 3 months prior orders. And it is small brokers, medium brokers, and large brokers. I am proud to be an investor in Ticket Evolution and look forward to answering any questions from any potential future partners.

  2. Ok, Donnie has no mathematical basis for his ratings. I was an English major in college and I could’ve told you that! Though I am glad the experts agree with me.

As the “little guy” sitting on the board, I can promise all of you other minimum investors that I’m not going to sit idle while the whales gobble us up. I’ve watched the bigger exchanges push quantity over quality (REALLY, Tnet, TNow, SH — it’s worth more to you if I sell $750k/quarter than if I don’t break a single order???) The thing I like about TEvo is that we’re focused on “quality” brokers — and we all know what that means, regardless of our size. You pick up your phones, honor your commitments, and stand by your reputation — and it’s just as true if you have $1M a year in orders or $100M a year. I am damned proud that I chose to invest in TEvo and I would STRONGLY encourage all of the startup brokers out there to seriously look at future potential. We’re going to let you decide your own path. Donnie has a set path he demands you follow and he’s going to tell you it’s going to make you a better and more successful broke and it JUST ISN’T TRUE. He breaks hearts and dreams on a regular basis and calls it his profits. Honestly, little guys, you don’t need that charlatan! Between TEvo & StubHub, you have more technology and consumer exposure than Donnie could ever hope to promise you. If anyone at Tnet wants to argue with that, I’d be happy to bring a pile of numbers to the table!

Brian – I would like to understand your argument about numbers, how do i reach u directly.

I too am tired of the games from the other exchange. This latest round of rating changes and contract changes has me at a very skeptical point with them. I find it hard to trust someone wanting me to commit to them for a set amount of years, but yet they offer no real incentive to do so except a threat of losing rating points if I don’t. All the while, having me locked in for set amount of years, and still being able to manipulate the game in their favor. How do you run a business by threatening people to do what you want or else suffer the consequences? I feel as though I’ve reached a fork in the road. Either I can continue down the same path, dealing with the changes that only benefit that exchange, or I need to think about making the big leap of faith.

  5. Tnow, Ticketnetwork, Stubhub ALL FEAR TEvo.

  6. Jerry Nahay says:

I was paying that SOB about 2 percent only a year ago and here I am at 11 percent today. I’m in this industry over 30 years and I can’t believe that one person who thinks he is God and can literally steal money from me by constantly changing the rules. You have to be mentally disturbed to stay with this Gestapo like organization. Even their 2010 “broker of the year” is complaining about a large swing in fees over such a short time. It almost seems like they want us all to leave, based on how they are mistreating us. I am DONE with them very, very soon. I strongly urge my fellow brokers to get the F@%k out of Dodge an tell this garbage pail where to go!

“I’m as mad as hell and I’m not going to take it anymore!”
